Serves 4
2 Cans Pinto Beans (or Organic pinto beans)
2 T Spicy, low sugar BBQ sauce
Salt
Fresh Ground Black Pepper
Note: The variations are where the fun really kicks in.
Place the beans in a large pot. Add the BBQ sauce. Simmer over medium for 15 minutes or until done to your liking. Taste then season with salt and pepper. Enjoy.
Variations:
Try adding ½ Cup diced onion, a tablespoon minced garlic, tomatoes, diced carrot.
